I look at every job myself
I come out and look at your job myself and tell you straight what it needs. Sometimes that's less work than you expected, and I'd rather say so than sell you a bigger job.
Mastercraft Fresno Concrete and Masonry is a local masonry crew run by a mason who came up on commercial jobs. We repair crumbling mortar and tired chimneys, and we build solid walls across Fresno.

I learned masonry laying block and brick for a big commercial outfit here in Fresno, and I worked my way up to running crews on large jobs. That work taught me a job is won or lost in the prep. In 2013 I went out on my own to bring that same discipline to homes, and it's still how we run Mastercraft Fresno Concrete and Masonry.
Most of our calls come from homeowners in Fresno and the cities around it with crumbling mortar joints, a tired chimney or a yard that needs a wall. Whatever the job, I care most about the parts you can't see once we leave, like the footing, the drainage and the mortar mix, because that's what decides whether a wall stays straight and solid.

On older brick we pick a mortar that gives before the brick does, so if something wears, it's the joints. Those are easy to rake out and refill, while cracked brick is a much bigger repair.
When a job needs a permit, we file it with the right city or county office and handle the paperwork. In Fresno that's the city's permit counter, so you aren't the one standing in line.
Here's what happens from your first call or form to the day our crew finishes the work.
Call (559) 319-0148 or fill out the form on our contact page and tell us what's going on. We get back to you within one business day.
I come out to see the job and write the estimate myself. It's free, done on site with no obligation, and you get the price in writing before anything starts.
Our own crew does the work, with a lead mason running it on site. California requires a contractor license for jobs that need a permit or cost $1,000 or more, and we're licensed and insured.
We're based in Fresno and work in the cities around it, including the ones listed here. If your city isn't on the list, call or send the form and ask.
